No sure how you can make that mistake but anyway The issue is that, if I recall correctly, your initial passport application requires that your provide a copy of your birth certificate and, in your case, copies of naturalization documents. If not on the documents themselves, your citizenship application indicates your place of birth. If there is a disagreement between the application and your previous statements, thats going to be a problem.
